The beauty of somatic work is that it is guided by the wisdom of the clients body. This work feels deeply nurturing and nourishing, like drinking from a cool clear drinking fountain when you body is punched.

Somatic Change Work

Have you been struggling with an area of your life?

This could be related to your physical health, your finances or your personal relationships.

Somatic change work is a deep but powerfully gentle approach to crating lasting and powerful change.

By working somatically (with the body) we are able to tap into the innate intelligence that is alive in every cell of your being that actually wants you to be completely healthy, deeply, loved and completely nourished living in a store of utter resilience.

And when we can do that. When we can actually release not just events that have happened in our lives but also the shame we carry for things which were never even our fault. Then we can finally access the treasures of our own heart, mind and even a deeper sense of connections to our own bodies which has so often been lost to us though the experience of trauma in out lives.

By the time many of ups have reached adulthood we have experienced some form of trauma that often gets stuck in our body. Somatic work actually allows us to complete and release these imprints and memories of trauma without shame or guilt.

The voice of shame says, I am bad, I don’t deserve the love I want, the money I need to survive and care for myself and to take for all life on this planet.

But love says, actually I am good. I am worthy of safety. I am worthy of having my needs met. I am worthy of being seen and heard and having my need and wishes cared for.

Love says I can care for myself and others. This is not in conflict. I can take what I need and let what I don't need be water for the garden I am growing. And from that garden I can share some of my harvest so that others can also have what they need.

This is balance.

The voice of shame says, If I have enough others will like in lack. I must not ask for what I really want, so that others can have what they need.

The voice of love says how can we create a world where there is enough for all. A world where children in hospitals can sleep safely, a world where no mother must choose between feeding her child and herself.

How can we open our hearts and be loving enough to see that the ones we consider our enemies are also human?

Love says I am worthy of my own love, I am precious, I am not bad but bad things have happened to me.
